Internship Program

AMTD launched the Internship Program with objective to train those university graduates with potential to pursue their career as a Financial Planning Consultant.

Students, who participate in our Internship Program, will work in AMTD during their extra-curricular hours under a part-time mode. Each intern will be assigned a mentor to follow up with their progress and instruct them on a variety of aspects, for example, product and financial knowledge, communication & presentation skill, selling technique, etc. Interns may also entitle to commissions if successful business is achieved.

Usually, the performance of many fresh graduates, who are new in the industry, will be affected by their limited sources of client network. In addition to the in-house training, AMTD also will provide client appointment to these newcomers from strong backup of precious time in its large customer database and call center service. Employees are not required to spend time in cold calling or in contacting their relatives and friends in order to generate sales. Alternatively, employees can concentrate to deliver their quality of services to clients by using their wealth management knowledge and professional skills. Usually, interns will complete their internship training within 6 to 9 months, and by then they will formally become Financial Planners.
